In last week’s BECS Committee Update on End Use of Codes and Standards, we provided details of the proposal, importance to the natural gas industry and an outline of proposed comments to the ICC, and the attachment provides additional details on the proposed response including expanded details of our concerns as well as the rationale for our proposed revisions. Please provide your comments, questions, or concerns with the proposed comments to AGA by Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The AGA 2026 Playbook is now available with updated, fact-based information and data on the benefits of the use of natural gas for consumers, businesses, industrial applications, transportation, power generation, etc. Attached are additional details contained in the Playbook of those benefits and is an excellent reference document that can be cited to respond to questions including end use codes and standards activities.
