The next Building Energy Codes and Standards Committee (BECS) Meeting will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, January 14-15, 2026, at Sempra Headquarters downtown San Diego.  Information regarding the San Diego Pendry hotel, meeting registration and preliminary agenda has been sent out.  Please contact us if you have not received it.  

Information on the International Code Council’s (ICC) State Codes Adoption.

For BECS Committee members information the ICC offers an online resource that provides information on state adoptions of their series of model codes including the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), the International Residential Code(IRC) , the International Fire Code (IFGC), etc.  Click here for the link. The site provides a list of and edition of each of the model ICC code adopted in the state.  In addition, the ICC also has a site that provides a read-only access here to each of the model code that they publish including the edition of the selected code of interest.
