The International Code Council Posts the Energy Complete Monograph for the 2027 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).
This week, the International Code Council posted the Energy Complete Monograph for the 2027 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). To access the monograph, you will need to go to the Code Development Committee (CDC) page and click on the Energy Documents link on the right hand side of the page. From there, follow the file path to reach the monograph. Identical copies of the monograph are posted in both the Commercial and Residential “Resource” folder. (Note that the monograph is 1016 pages.) AGA staff is reviewing the proposals and BECS Committee members are requested to also begin reviewing all the proposals to both the Residential and Commercial IECC. Recall that in the December 13, 2024 Update, we reported in the Update that the BECS committee submitted 14 proposals to the 2027 edition of the IECC. AGA will be preparing a review of all proposals that impact the direct use of natural gas and developing suggested positions on those proposals. We will also be discussing the proposals at next weeks BECS Committee meeting in Greenville, SC.
